Meet Winter

This blog is intended to be my journal to capture my God-growing journey.  I am a wife of almost 15 years, a mom to two great kids, a photographer, chocolate lover, friend, a girl who loves to laugh and is really bad with punctuation-I love a run on sentence, but loves God with my entire being. I am seeking His path for how he plans for me to serve him, I crave to be filled with knowledge and His presence.

I am discovering my path has taken me away from being a very busy business owner and a youth ministry volunteer, to being a wife and mom. One who is present with them and Jesus instead of completing my “to do” list. I have recently renewed my commitment to blog more often and I’m still getting into the swing of things. You see, I want more than anything to serve Jesus and live out his plan for my life and part of that right now is being the mom and wife he called me to be while being with Him. Studying His word is a huge part of that journey and documenting my thoughts in my blog is another part. I have found this desire to move beyond the pages of my journal to a sharable format to keep me accountable. That can’t be done without studying and living in Him because without it I have nothing to blog about, if I’m doing what I’ve been called to do I find inspiration through Him. I hope to be used by him to encourage other women in their daily lives. To help them see God where they are and inspire them to step out of their comfort zones to do what He is calling them to do.

I pray that if you are reading this that it is your desire as well. If your not sure if this is your desire please email me so we can chat about your questions. I may not have all the answers but there is One who does and He is my guidance, rock and can be yours as well. Rejoice in our confident hope. Be patient in hope, and keep on praying. Romans 12:12

  1. Winter, it is my privilege to know you and call you friend! God has great things for you and the ministry that He has called you to, you have so much love and compassion to give to the ones He is bringing in your path. Don’t worry about all the details as He knows everything that you need, even before you ask. I am praying for you and trusting God to bring you His words and His heart every time you sit down to type. Love you dear friend.
